Miftahul Khairat Sukma, Indrarini Dyah Irawati dan Hafidudin

Abstrak

Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is a wireless network device that consists of a lot of sensor node, computation or data processing device, and also communication device to send or receive data. WSN might be used for communicating, monitoring, tracking, and controlling. This research analyzed the comparison of the simulation result from routing protocol on WSN using Gradient based approach and Geographic based approach. From the result of the simulation, it was compared the most efficient routing from hop, distance, and energy that was used at the data sending from 100 node to BS. The most efficient from the result is Gradient based approach with the total hop of 375, distance 4414.3822 meter, and the used energy 0.0767189 Joule. The simulation result of Geographic based approach is the total hop of 411, distance 4588.4049 meter, and the used energy 0.0836362 Joule.

2. Spanning Tree Protocol Simulation Based On Software Defined Network Using Mininet Emulator

Indrarini Dyah Irawati dan Mohammad Nuruzzamanirridha

Abstrak

Software Defined Networking (SDN) is a new networking paradigm [1] that separates the control and forwarding planes in a network. This migration of control, formerly tightly bound in individual network devices, into accessible computing devices enables the underlying infrastructure to be abstracted for applications and network services, which can treat the network as a logical or virtual entity. There are three methods for implementing SDN based network architecture, which uses Mininet emulator, Net-FPGA, and OpenFlow-based S/W switch [2]. In this research, simulation of Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) based SDN using mininet emulator. SDN is performed by OpenvSwitch (OVS) as a forwarding function, Ryu as OpenFlow Controller, and Mininet that installed on Raspberry-Pi. Then see the effect of the use of STP at Ryu Controller on network performance. The results of this research show that the simulation of SDN with OVS and Ryu controller can successfully runs STP function and STP on Ryu controller prevents broadcast storm.

3. Comparing on sparse heart sound recovery algorithms

Indrarini Dyah Irawati dan Ervin Masita Dewi

Abstrak

This paper applied the concept of Compressive Sensing on practical problem for sparse heart sound recovery. The sparse representation matrix used Haar wavelet transform, while the measurement matrix used random orthogonal matrix. We compare the performance of different recovery algorithm such as Subspace Pursuit (SP), Iterative Hard Thresholding (IHT), Compressive Sampling Matching Pursuit(CoSaMP), Orthogonal Matching Pursuit (OMP), and L1 norm optimization. The experiment results show that all of method can recovery a periodic heart beat sound. The best recovery performance is L1 norm, but the computational time is worse.

4. Local Interpolated Compressive Sampling for Internet Traffic Reconstruction

Indrarini Dyah Irawati, Andriyan Bayu Suksmono dan Ian Joseph Matheus Edward

Abstrak

In this paper, we propose the integration of local interpolation on compressive sampling (CS) for application on internet traffic reconstruction. CS managed to solve the problem of missing Internet traffic but not in the case of extreme missing like Missing Elements at Random (MER) and Combine Missing Patterns (CMP). To overcome the problem is done by merging between local interpolations with CS. In this study conducted a comparison of local interpolation using correlation method and Euclidean norm and tested the effect of similarity parameters between rows and similarity between columns. The simulation results show that the addition of local interpolation can improve accuracy.
